Elliptic entire leaves simple, lanceolate, leathery, short petiolate, 6 -- 12 cm long, 2 -- 5 cm wide, transparent oil spots visible on upper surface. They bloom in spring and autumn. Flowers solitary in leaf axils. There are three yellowish-green sepals; 6-9 pieces of quilt, pink to deep red. Results from autumn to the following spring.
